MECFA launches campaign to help people with CF in Gaza and the West Bank, Palestine

MECFA, in its latest initiative, has launched the BreathForGaza campaign to support children and young adults in Gaza and the West Bank who are affected by cystic fibrosis. The current situation in Palestine poses numerous challenges for individuals with this rare and potentially fatal disease, including limited access to essential resources such as food, clean water, and medication. Tragically, more than 200 diagnosed individuals have experienced prolonged suffering and even loss of life due to these circumstances.

The primary objective of the MECFA BreathForGaza campaign is to raise 100.000 USD by the end of April. These funds will be utilized to procure vital medications, food supplements, and vitamins, which will then be distributed to those in need in Palestine. Through a partnership between MECFA and MEDGlobal, the donated supplies will be transported from a warehouse in Egypt to Gaza and the West Bank.

MECFA aims to extend its appeal to the global cystic fibrosis community, urging their support to achieve the campaign's goal by the specified deadline of April 2024.
